The new owners, Ashley and Mark Witt, will be launching their own winery, Not Just N.E. Farm Vineyard, at this exceptional 50.52-acre estate. Todd and Aimee Henkle, who established The Vineyards & Winery at Lost Creek in 2012, have made significant strides in the wine industry, including the acquisition of a 25-acre vineyard in Bluemont known as Meridian Ridge. This vineyard has been instrumental in cultivating their premier red grapes for the past seven years. The Henkles, in collaboration with Walsh Family, O1V, and Bluemont Winery, are actively working to secure official American Viticulture Area (AVA) status for the Bluemont region, underscoring its potential for producing exceptional wines.
As part of their strategic transition, Todd and Aimee will be relocating their production operations to Meridian Ridge and their tasting room to Echelon Wine Bar in historic downtown Leesburg, located at 32 South King Street. This move will allow them to continue offering tastings and meals, ship to their Lost Creek Wine Club, and host wine dinners and events at Echelon.
