HINGHAM, MA (March 29, 2010) – Jeff Forsythe, manager of Hammond Residential’s Hingham office, has announced that Peter Bailey has joined the firm as an agent in the Company’s Hingham office. In his new position, Bailey will be representing buyers and sellers from Hammond’s office located at 15 Leavitt Street, Hingham. Forsythe, in making the announcement, said: “I have admired Peter’s brokerage skills and negotiating acumen since we both worked together at Success Real Estate. Peter has a broad understanding of home construction as well as the social and economic forces that drive the local real estate marketplace on the South Shore.”
Bailey is a lifelong resident of the South Shore. Educated in Hingham, he went on to Boston University and earned a Master’s Degree in Instructional Design from the University of Massachusetts. Both Bailey and his wife, Peggy, taught in the Hingham Public Schools for over 30 years. Bailey taught Economics and History at the High School where his love for lacrosse led him to implement the varsity program.
In addition to his passion for education and real estate, Bailey has served as a Director of the North River Arts Society, and is currently Chairman of the Board for the Hingham Federal Credit Union.
