Jupiter, FL – December, 2004 – For years Board of Regents and Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate member Rob Thomson has helped provide needy children with toys during the Christmas season. Last year alone he donated more than 4,000 toys to children throughout the Palm Beach County area. This year his kindness has ballooned into a full-fledged charity effort called Charities for Children.Through Charity for Children, Thomson has recruited some major hitters in Palm Beach County to help out. Companies like Palm Beach Financial and Wachovia with over 1,000 employees are reaching out to help children who may otherwise be empty-handed come Christmas morning. Thomson was also able to get the public schools in the area involved, managing to turn every Public School into a drop-off location. The school teachers and school police will hand the toys out to those children they know to be the neediest and the remaining toys will be distributed by Charity for Children. Thomson has opened the invitation for any businesses, large or small to pitch in and help where they can. Charity for Children will pick up and deliver any donation of new toys, and will accept monetary donations as well. For the whole story click here!To make a donation, or for more information contact Rob Thomson at 561-746-7272.
