Chestnut Hill, MA – Jim Nemetz, manager of Hammond Residential Real Estate’s Chestnut Hill office, is pleased to announce that veteran agent Charlie McMillan has affiliated with Hammond. McMillan, who has over twenty years of real estate experience, will be representing buyers and sellers from Hammond’s Chestnut Hill office, which also serves as the company’s Headquarters.
Charlie holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and has completed graduate work at Harvard University and the University of Massachusetts. He and his wife have been Newton residents for over thirty years, where their three sons were raised and educated.
Charlie is recognized as a dedicated individual within the Newton community. In 2009, he was awarded Newton’s Mayoral Citation for Community Service in recognition of his extensive involvement in the civic life of the city. He has served as a member of the Newton Historical Commission, as Chairman of the Newton Community Preservation Committee, and as a volunteer for the Newton Human Rights Commission. Charlie was also a PTO co-president of the Mason Rice School, and a commissioner of Newton East Little League.
Throughout his career in residential real estate, Charlie has consistently valued honesty, disclosure, and attention to detail. He happily takes the time to educate his clients about all facets of a real estate transaction, including property values and negotiations. Charlie also has expertise in home renovation, historic renovation, and condominium conversion. He prides himself on his ability to help people buy, sell, and invest in residential real estate.
