Lexington, MA – Kurt Meehan, manager of Hammond Residential Real Estate’s Lexington office, is pleased to announce the addition of experienced agent Bija Satterlee to the Lexington team. In her new role, Bija will be representing buyers and sellers out of Hammond’s Lexington office located at 1775 Massachusetts Avenue.
Bija is a native of Colorado. She relocated to Lexington, Massachusetts twenty-three years ago, where she raised her daughter. She is a former personal trainer and professional ballroom dancer who represented the United States three times at the World Championships. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors, and training her Chihuahua to perform circus and agility tricks.
Bija’s interest in real estate began many years ago, when she observed her grandmother’s dealings in investment properties. As she learned more about residential real estate, she became particularly focused on how people’s needs change as they progress through life. This inspired Satterlee to earn numerous real estate-related designations, including REALTOR, CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert), ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative), and SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist). In addition, she is a member of local, regional, and national boards, including the GBREB (Greater Boston Real Estate Board), MAR (Massachusetts Association of Realtors) and NAR (National Association of Realtors).
Bija spent the past seven years at Bowes Real Living in Arlington, where she regularly taught seminars for first-time home buyers. In her new role at Hammond, she looks forward to providing valuable guidance and resources to her clients, so they can make informed decisions as they mature through their real estate life cycles.
