CONCORD, MA – Nora Moran, manager of Hammond Residential Real Estate’s Concord office, recently announced that agent Mary Hennessey has affiliated with Hammond. In her new role, Hennessey will utilize her real estate knowledge and design skills to help her clients achieve their real estate goals.
A New Jersey transplant, Hennessey first arrived in the Boston area to attend college at Boston University, and later graduated with honors from Emerson College with a degree in Broadcasting and Film. She has resided in Concord since 1996 with her two children, both of whom attended Concord Public Schools. In her spare time, Hennessey enjoys racing sailboats and participating in regattas up and down the East Coast. She encourages other women to skipper, and she has mentored many through the Boston Sailing Center’s women’s fleet.
Hennessey began her real estate career in the late eighties selling condominiums in the Back Bay and Beacon Hill. She took a respite from the industry as marriage and children found her living in Europe, Washington D.C., and Vermont. Upon returning five years later, she once again turned to selling real estate, this time in Lexington, where she renovated her family’s antique house on “The Avenue” to rave reviews. In addition, for the past fifteen years, Hennessey has pursued her passion for interior design through her own design clients, and also through running a showroom at the Boston Design Center for Manhattan-based Urban Archaeology.
Hennessey looks forward to resuming her residential real estate career. She is dedicated to finding workable solutions for her buyer and seller clients. Her keen eye for design will be helpful to sellers hoping to present their property in the best light, and to buyers trying to successfully envision a new home’s possibilities.
