RHODE ISLAND - Michelle Kirby and David Huberman of Gustave White Sotheby's International Realty recently facilitated the sale of “Wildacre”, an iconic landmark property overlooking Price’s Neck Cove, for $14,000,000. Michelle represented the seller, who executed a meticulous restoration of the property in 1998. This restoration garnered many awards including a “Historic Preservation Award” from the Rhode Island Historical Preservation & Heritage Commission. The buyer was represented by David.
“Wildacre,” built in 1902, was a collaboration by architect Irving Gill and Frederick Law Olmsted’s Landscape firm. Nestled into its rugged and private oceanfront site, amenities include an infinity-edge pool overlooking the cove with pool house and grill/kitchen area, private dock, greenhouse, and guest house.
Dyana Fonda and Eileen Johnson represented the seller in the second significant sale from Gustave White Sotheby's International Realty of the “Aloha Cottage” for $9,350,000. Perched along East Beach, the stately shingle-style home with a rooftop skywalk included technically advanced systems, open luxury living spaces, views from Block Island to Fishers Island, and a swimming pool.
