NEW YORK, NY - Warburg Realty®, one of Manhattan’s leading residential real estate companies, today announced Michael Guerra has joined the firm as its Brooklyn Sales Director. In this newly created role, Guerra will be responsible for heading Warburg’s expansion into Brooklyn.
Previously, Guerra was Executive Vice President, Managing Director at Douglas Elliman, a position he held from 2006 until this year. During that time, he was responsible for building the division into a $20 million business and expanding from one to five offices in the borough.
“I am excited to join Warburg and help the firm continue its growth in the city,” Guerra stated. “Having lived most of my life in Park Slope and experienced firsthand the renovation boom in Brownstone Brooklyn, I look forward to being directly involved in the next stage of the borough’s renaissance.”
Prior to joining Douglas Elliman in 2002, Guerra was a broker at both The Corcoran Group and William B. May in Brooklyn.
“Michael has enormous depth of knowledge in the Brooklyn market,” stated Frederick Peters, President, Warburg Realty. “His energy, wit and intelligence will make him an invaluable addition to our management team, as well as a key player in our Brooklyn expansion.”
