SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Zephyr Real Estate announced last week the promotion of Melody Foster to the position of Vice President – Marketing and Web Development. Foster has been with Zephyr for seven years and has continually grown and expanded her responsibilities over that time. She was instrumental in Zephyr’s high-ranking position in the marketplace.
Foster recently led the Zephyr team in its award-winning re-branding campaign. She has effectively orchestrated budgetary streamlining while maximizing the company’s return on marketing investments. She is also a key part of the management team.
She began her marketing career nearly two decades ago as a part-time marketing assistant while still a student, and her career path has continued to rise ever since. Her background includes extensive marketing, design and communications and a proven ability to organize, develop and implement new ideas, plan effective marketing campaigns and strategies, and instruct Realtors and staff on new technology, marketing tools and services in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Foster was the driving force in executing the major overhaul of Zephyr’s website in 2009. That success brought more responsibilities and projects including the company’s mobile website, intranet platform, automated market statistic chart generation, development of a new financial platform, and arranging exclusive sponsorships and partnerships of cutting-edge apps, as well as her ongoing duties overseeing marketing and advertising.
She is a long-time Bay Area resident and currently resides with her family in Berkeley. She is an avid supporter of the Bay Area Crisis Nursery, Berkeley Public School Fund, and Oakland Children’s Hospital and Research Center Foundation, and an active participant for her son’s Parent Teacher Association.
