Shuman is a Providence, Rhode Island native and University of Rhode Island graduate who currently resides in Brookline. Passionate about her community, Shuman donates her time by volunteering at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, and she has also participated in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. When she’s not working, Shuman enjoys practicing yoga and spending time with family, in addition to baking new creations to bring to the closing table.
Prior to her real estate career, Shuman worked in the pharmaceutical sales industry for companies such as Proctor and Gamble, Oral B, and L’Oreal. During those years, she achieved multiple recognition awards for sales success, driven by a nonstop focus on customer satisfaction. Following her passion for real estate and drawing upon her learned skills, Shuman transitioned into real estate in 1987, where she has worked as a full time agent since 2010.
As a Hammond agent, Shuman prides herself on her exceptional client service abilities. Her strengths include negotiations, assessing client needs, and most important, her positive attitude. Knowledgeable about current market trends, Shuman conducts real estate seminars targeted to individuals who are at varying points within the real estate life cycle – first-time buyers, empty nesters, and senior buyers. Additionally, Shuman has acquired her Senior Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) designation, to better serve the older population.
