SEATTLE, WA USA – Sunday, October 1st, members of the Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate network began arriving in Toronto, Canada to attend the 22nd Annual Luxury Real Estate Fall Conference. The four-day affair brought together real estate professionals and keynote speakers from around the world to connect, share and discuss the latest trends in the luxury real estate industry.
Keynote speakers included social scientist and educator Dr. Mary Donohue, who spoke about how to leverage technology to effectively communicate with team members or clients of different generations; Chris Voss, FBI’s former lead international kidnapping negotiator who founded and currently CEO of The Black Swan Group, lead a lively and compelling forum concerning FBI tactics that are useful for negotiating, as well as preserving a productive long-term relationship between real estate professionals and their clients; and Sami Jo Small, a three-time ice hockey Olympian with two Olympic gold medals, whose message focused on teamwork and motivation, sharing her motto as inspiration, “in life, you don’t always get to choose the role you play, but you do get to choose how you play it.”
In addition, Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate members led expert panel discussions throughout the conference regarding “Government Influence on Local Real Estate Markets,” “Women Leaders in Real Estate,” “Forget about Buying Leads, the Key to a Successful Real Estate Practice is Building Lasting Relationships” and “Reaching Beyond the Listing Presentation.” Attendees also engaged in round table discussions on best practices using technology and marketing strategies that win listings and get them sold.
Additional targeted presentations led by Luxury Real Estate partners covered referrals, digital technology in real estate marketing, market forecasting and the role demographics play in home buying decisions. The event ended with a dinner and awards presentation, where the Luxury Real Estate Awards were presented, and Harvey and Elise Kalles were honored as Lifetime Achievement Award recipients for their continual success in luxury real estate.
