Dale Sorensen Real Estate logoVERO BEACH, FL - Dale Sorensen Real Estate is pleased to announce that Brenda Valdivia has joined the company’s team of real estate professionals.

Valdivia grew up in Peru and Miami, so she appreciates the Vero Beach lifestyle in a way like no-one else. As a child in Peru, Valdivia’s father was a successful car dealer. That is until the worst political violence in the history of the republic during the 1980’s and 1990’s. Brenda ValdiviaValdivia’s family knew they needed to leave their homeland and moved to Miami/Ft. Lauderdale. But after several years, her father wanted to move to a quieter, less congested area to improve his family’s lifestyle. The family arrived in Vero Beach a dozen years ago and immediately knew they were finally home.

Selling real estate was another long journey for Valdivia. “I worked in retail sales on Vero’s Barrier Island for many years. Matilde Sorensen used to come in and she would ask me to come sell real estate. I always thought about it but would never take that leap. Then I met another sales agent with Dale Sorensen Real Estate. He finally convinced me that I could, and should, do this. I will forever be grateful to both of them for pushing me into what is now my forever career.”

Valdivia has a background of proven sales and superior customer service. Valdivia will work with all types of residential real estate, including single family homes, apartments and condominiums, in all areas of Vero Beach and Indian River County. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

A shopping maven, other hobbies of Valdivia include trying new restaurants, going to the movies and spending time in the sun at beaches and the pool. She is the very proud grandmother to a 15-month-old little girl, saying “she is the light of my life.”

For a woman forced to leave her homeland, to finding her new hometown, Brenda Valdivia appreciates the wonderful life she has and is anxious to show others the town she has so lovingly adopted.

She can be reached at 772.321.1581, by email at bvaldivia@sorensenrealestate.com or at the office located at 1961 14th Avenue, in historic downtown Vero Beach.
