She is a skilled negotiator who uses sound tactics and her problem-solving skills to create solid solutions to overcome obstacles.
A Tennessee girl at heart, Janette is originally from Knoxville. She attended the University of Tennessee (UTK), where she graduated with a BS in Food and Nutrition with a minor in Business Administration.
Janette is very involved with the UTK Alumni and served as a 2-term President of the North Atlanta UT Alumni Chapter forming a 9-Member Board that focused on bringing UT Alums together for social and community service along with holding an annual golf tournament to raise funds for a UTK scholarship endowment in the name of the Joshua Dobbs Foundation.
Janette is very involved in her community, and her passion for helping people led her to volunteer with Samaritan’s Purse – Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Outreach. During the recent pandemic, she worked with Lasagna Love, where she made and delivered lasagnas to local families that needed some extra love and kindness during tough times.
After living and working in many areas of Northern Georgia over the years, Janette now calls Cumming her home. When she is not selling real estate, she enjoys time in her own home, working in the yard, spending time with friends and family, watching UT sports, and loving on her beloved adopted dachshund Molly.
