An established and respected Managing broker of Summit Sotheby’s International Realty in St. George, Jo-Ann Geer is your local real estate expert serving clients throughout Southern Utah. Almost thirty years ago, Jo-Ann – born and raised in Boston – made the decision to move from the east coast to California before eventually landing in Utah. Jo-Ann immediately fell in love with our iconic and beautiful state, which she has now called home for the past 30 years. A self-starter, Jo-Ann has always been self-employed and has founded several businesses of her own. She always exhibits a ‘can-do’ attitude and never takes no for an answer; Jo-Ann believes that with successful communication and cooperation, there’s always a win-win scenario and successful resolution for everyone. These characteristics eventually led Jo-Ann into a career in real estate where she has thrived for the past 20 years. Before joining Summit Sotheby’s International Realty, Jo-Ann was a broker at ReMax Associates when she received an opportunity to work on Encanto, a new luxury vacation home community near St. George. . Many aspects inspired Jo-Ann to join Summit Sotheby’s International Realty; she recognized their dedication to excellence and staying ahead of the curve. Jo-Ann is all about balance. She takes a relaxed approach but remains a tireless advocate for her clients, so they never feel pressured to make any quick decisions. She understands her clients and really gets to know them on a deeper level; this has allowed her to sell many homes sight-unseen, based purely on a trusted relationship between agent and client. Comfortable with her extensive career in Real Estate and confident in her decision-making, Jo-Ann’s clients have no problem making big life choices with her by their side. Her favorite type of clients to work with are people who’re relocating or buying second/vacation homes, because she understands the process of relocating personally herself. When she is not thriving as a real estate agent, you can find Jo-Ann traveling the world or exploring the beautiful red rocks of Southern Utah that can be found right out her door. She also loves to spend her time boating on the desert water, or employing her green thumb amongst the plants in her greenhouse. Active in her local community, Jo-Ann has served as director for the Washington County Board of Realtors®, as chair for the Education Committee for many years, and currently sits on the Utah Ethics Committee.
