Tina Hunsicker

My path to Real Estate has been one with many twists and turns, allowing me to acquire valuable knowledge and skills that have proven most beneficial to my career as a Realtor®.

I grew up in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. After graduating from of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Minors in Economics and MIS, I immediately began working for Eastman Kodak Company in the Business Imaging Systems Division selling to financial institutions while working towards my MBA with Gannon University and Duquesne University.

After leaving sales, I worked in the financial industry as a Certified Cash Manager for banks in Pittsburgh, Washington DC and the Mid Atlantic Region.

Following my move to Atlanta, I became the Director of Business Development for Ernst and Young's Financial Advisory Services Group and later as a Manager in financial services consulting group with KPMG primarily doing bank strategy work.

In 2002, I made the decision to make a total change of careers and move into Real Estate. At first I thought it would be a supplemental job as I continued doing independent consulting work for my established clients. I soon realized that a career in Real Estate could be a full time endeavor. Within two years, I was in the top 5% of agents in Atlanta.

I've earned distinguished awards through the years as a top individual agent reaching the ranks of the top 10 Agents in Atlanta from 2005-2007. I have been very fortunate that, even during the down turn in the market, I managed to remain a consistent performer. I soon obtained the Atlanta Board of Realtors® Phoenix Award, which recognizes 10 years of Multi-Million Dollar Performance. I have represented large builders in land acquisitions and new construction and worked with buyers of $45,000 condos and multi-million dollar estates. I have listed homes throughout Georgia and have garnered creative marketing techniques to gain exposure for properties all over the state. While my primary focus has been Buckhead, Vinings and Smyrna, my referral network is expansive and I work with high-end clients all over the city.

I joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices | Georgia Properties as of August of 2013 and hope to carry on my tradition of honest, straightforward representation of my clients. Unlike most other Atlanta agents, I have the unique advantage of a business background and analytical financial knowledge. Purchasing a home is one of the biggest investments you will make in your lifetime, and not something you want to trust to a part time agent. You need someone whose sole support is meeting the needs of her clients. I am that person and I look forward to serving you.

On a personal note, I grew up in Pittsburgh and now live in Vinings with my son who attends the Westminster Schools and is active in soccer, LaCrosse and playing 3 different instruments. We also belong to Peachtree Presbyterian Church.
