Ian Hurdle

Widely considered one of the top agents serving the Turks and Caicos luxury market, Ian brings more than 20 years of experience in the real estate, construction, property management, and hospitality industries to his role as Managing Partner of The Agency’s Turks and Caicos office.

A specialist in “Caribbean curb appeal” and the luxury vacation villa rental market, Ian has represented buyers and sellers in some of Turks and Caicos’ highest recorded sales by area. His expansive network, diverse service offerings, and involvement in many of the area’s foremost resort developments make him the go-to agent for savvy buyers looking for return on investments in the Caribbean. Be it a condominium, luxury vacation villa, raw land for development, or commercial interest, Ian has the business experience and network to make the real estate process a simple and enjoyable one to navigate.

Prior to becoming an agent, Ian spent several years in construction with a focus on landscape design. He made the transition to real estate sales in 2011, joining Christie’s International Real Estate. His extensive background in home, landscape and pool design and construction has equipped him with the rare ability to assess every aspect of a property from an expert’s perspective. With a reputation for his excellent communication, stellar negotiating skills, and superior, white-glove service, real estate isn’t simply a job for Ian, it’s a passion.

Born and raised in England, Ian went to school at Mill Chase Academy in Bordon, England, before attending Alton College and Merrist Wood College. When he’s not serving his clients in real estate, he enjoys spending time with his family and visiting his second home in Vermont. A former soccer player, Ian is the founder of Trailblazers Sports Academy, a nonprofit whose mission is to provide support and guidance for local youth through sports and career outreach programs.
