Helaine was a very helpful broker. We were moving to Chicago from DC and provided some parameters and showed us an excellent sampling of what was available eventually guiding us to a wonderful building that we are enjoying a great deal. She made buying a home in Chicago very easy.

Helaine was incredibly helpful and patient in our roller coaster search for our beautiful condo in Chicago. We found Helaine through her condo-finder website. When our first deal fell through (place #1) after the inspection on a Wednesday, she got us a showing at a new listing we were really excited about the very next night (Thursday) = place #2. Our offer for place #2 was one of two offers that the owners were thinking about and we were told they would not make a decision until the following Sunday. Because we did not want to be left out of another possible place that we liked, she then committed the following ENTIRE Saturday to drive us around to all of our favorite places (nine places in one day!). This made us feel incredibly important; she was willing to do this even though we had a somewhat limited budget. We ended up loving another place (place #3) more than place #2 and happily walked away from the competitive bid situation. Throughout the buying process, Helaine gave us very helpful advice - but beyond that, she really worked with us to find us a place that was well suited for us - within our budget and matched to our tastes.
