A real estate professional since 2011 and a third-generation Southwest Florida (SWFL) resident, Alex King knows everything there is to know about SWFL’s market and lifestyle. In addition to being well-versed in buying and selling single-family homes, multifamily and income properties, fixer-uppers, and foreclosures, he is also a resource for his clients on an array of topics — like insurance, boating access, short-term rentals, pet-friendly rules, and homeowners associations. His innovative attitude and vast experience have landed him many accolades over the years: No. 1 in sales in Fort Myers Beach from 2017-2023, Trulia Top Agent, and Zillow Premier Agent. As of 2023, his sales had topped $500 million.

On its own, Alex’s insider view provides a leg up, but the advantage becomes even greater when his persistent work ethic comes into play. He believes that through hard work, people make their own good luck, and he was in the habit of making good luck for people long before becoming an agent. Formerly a business owner, Alex had a 35-year career in sales and sales management, developing his communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. He has been leveraging the internet since the early days, and he has expertise in search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, video, and online marketing — all of which he puts to work for his real estate clients.

Alex works with many investors and second-home buyers from all over the United States, Canada, and Germany, but he also works with people who are relocating to the area and business owners seeking a more relaxed way of life close to Southwest Florida’s gorgeous beaches. Whatever his clients desire, Alex first listens to their needs and wishes before creating a personalized plan to help them achieve their goals. He is there every step of the way to give advice and facilitate the transaction, including providing emotional support and reassurance so that his clients’ journeys are as stress-free as possible.

In his free time, Alex and his wife, Nina, enjoy Florida’s cultural offerings — attending shows, concerts, restaurants, and shops. Alex and Nina are also active in local charity efforts, and their passion for inspiring and assisting organizations led them to create the King Family Foundation in 2020. They’re also dedicated to keeping Southwest Florida’s water clean and support Friends of Lovers Key and Captains for Clean Water.
