Andy Emory is an experienced and highly knowledgeable real estate professional serving the Park City and Heber Valley areas of Utah. The son of a real estate developer and investor, Andy grew up surrounded by and immersed in real estate. Dinner table discussions centered around properties and home tours and site visits were frequent, providing early exposure to the home-building process, various asset types and investment strategies. Born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA and having lived in Newport Beach, CA before now calling Midway, Utah home, Andy is no stranger to the luxury home market as well as the investment opportunities and other price points that exist in and around sought-after resort destinations.

Andy graduated from BYU’s Marriott School of Management with a B.S. in financial services with a focus on real estate. Prior to graduating, he worked with a private equity group in Irvine, CA, helping the acquisitions team underwrite and analyze office buildings and business parks. He also spent two years living in Brazil for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Post-graduation, Andy continued his career in commercial real estate, working with a nationwide self-storage ownership and management company where he analyzed acquisitions, marketing and pricing.

Parlaying his education and past experience into a personal opportunity, Andy eventually left commercial real estate to begin building his own real estate investment portfolio. Seeking unique opportunities and the potential for “sweat equity”, he is now an experienced remodeler familiar with various residential investing strategies. Andy currently owns both long-term residential rentals and nightly rentals, providing hands-on personal experience and direct expertise with these two investment types. Andy is constantly on the lookout for the next great opportunity for his clients and has a keen eye for potential upgrades and renovations. His personal experience as a buyer or seller in several transactions has also shown Andy the value a skilled real estate agent can bring to a transaction and he is excited to bring this value to his clients.

Lovers of the lifestyle found in the mountain resort town of Park City and neighboring Heber Valley (and life-long visitors to both), Andy, his wife Jennifer and their five young children jumped when the opportunity to relocate to Midway, UT from Newport Beach, CA presented itself in 2017 and they haven’t looked back since. Andy highly values being outside with his kids and can often be found coaching their ski team at Sundance, baiting their hooks at the local fishing hole or leading them through Utah’s trails on mountain bikes. He also enjoys getting out with his wife and friends for faster-paced skiing in the trees at Deer Valley® or ripping up the single-track on his KTM motorcycle. Relocating to the Wasatch Back has been an incredible life change for Andy and his family and he would love to share their experience with others looking to relocate to the area.
