Martha Morris

Martha Morris is an experienced, driven, and passionate Utah-based real estate professional serving the greater Salt Lake valley and surrounding areas. Born in Florida but raised in Kentucky, Martha made the move to the Beehive State after high school to attend Brigham Young University for college. She graduated with a degree in Psychology and immediately dove into social work, mentoring at-risk teens, veterans, and those experiencing homelessness. She received her Substance Use Disorder Counselor license from the University of Utah, and for the next nine years Martha worked in nonprofit admissions, program management, and quality assurance administration.

After meeting her future husband in 2009 at Sundance Mountain Resort and marrying in 2011, they bought their first home together with the guidance of a local broker in 2013. Martha found herself intrigued by and drawn to the real estate process. After discussing at length with her REALTOR® and learning more about the industry, Martha realized she wanted to apply her social work skills to the dynamic world of real estate. She set short and long-term goals for herself, and five years later she was recruited by an agent friend to establish a real estate team. Their dynamic partnership and hard work paid off; they completed 30 transactions in their first year of business and for the next two years, Martha would remain the top-performing sales professional at her brokerage.

Eventually realizing she was reaching the upper limits of her potential with her current brokerage, in the spring of 2022 Martha made the decision to seek a brokerage partnership that offered more comprehensive agent support services, with the goal of elevating her real estate services and network reach. Martha was immediately drawn to (and would ultimately join) Summit Sotheby’s International Realty, Utah’s only brokerage with full time, in-house support teams specializing in real estate marketing and advertising, professional photography, videography, accounting, transaction management and more. Martha sought a brokerage with similar core values and a commitment to excellence that matched her own, and she was delighted to find that level of support with the global Sotheby’s Realty brand and the Utah-based Summit Sotheby’s International Realty team. Martha believes that ‘luxury is not a price point but rather, an experience” and strives to provide a five-star experience for every client, regardless of the price point, location or size of home.

Martha has received her Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) designation and was included in our local “Top 500” Real Estate professionals at the SLC Board the past two years (2020 & 2021). She was the #1 top-producing agent at her previous brokerage for multiple years, and today remains ultra-committed to working towards her client’s needs, wishes, and goals. Her work ethic, caring nature, and unmatched negotiation skills set her apart from other agents; Martha takes time to educate her clients throughout the transaction, establishing a relationship built on knowledge and trust, bridging the gap between sales professional and trusted advisor.

Martha loves Utah’s ski scene and one of her immediate, short-term goals for her business includes marketing and servicing the 84121 area of the Salt Lake valley (Cottonwood Heights, Holladay, Murray and Sandy). Martha is passionate about helping people, choosing a career in real estate to make a difference while assisting others through one of their biggest life decisions. When she’s not working, Martha focuses on being the best version of herself; she and her husband recently celebrated eleven years of marriage and are the proud parents of a three-year-old daughter and a new baby boy. Martha loves spending time with family, hanging out with friends, dining out and enjoying great food, live music, and getting outside to ski and bike in Utah’s gorgeous mountain landscape.
