In our purchase Tim helped everything go smoothly and we were able to close on time- this was a big plus for us, AND we were able to enjoy the 4TH of July Holiday in our new home.! I honestly can't say enough good things about working with Tim and his team. He performed leaps and bounds above what I was expecting. With me trying to sell my place and living in a different state, Tim took it upon himself to do all the leg work including multiple visits to my property to fix things, to check on it, to make sure other agents were being respectful as they toured my property, to return some wifi equipment on my behalf. He was patient with my requests, very communicative, very responsive and so calming during a stressful time in my life. He has excellent customer service skills, I wish all people in this industry showed up and cared, like Tim! I would give him 6 stars if I could! I'm so tremendously grateful to have worked with him and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Tim was both professional and personable and provided a streamlined conversation between myself (buyer), the previous owner, mortgage officer, and insurance broker (including the tricky CA Fair Plan for mountain town fire insurance).

Tim has a great knowledge of the Idyllwild/Pine-Cove area, understanding nuances of what attributes of a property will generate lasting value -- understanding the difference between both homes intended as primary residences vs vacation homes (including short term rental opportunities to generate income).

My wife and I met Tim McTavish at one of his open houses. We were looking for a small cabin in Idyllwild to escape the desert heat in the summer. Tim contacted us when a brand new client of his contacted him to sell their cabin. He took some pictures and sent them to me and told me about this 1930 hunters cabin that has been updated. He asked the owner if he could show it to us before it was on the market and they agreed. My wife and I instantly fell in love with the property, it was what we were looking for. He was very "hands -on", patient and detail oriented. He handled a number of complicated issues easily for us. He took initiative in negotiating prices and other terms, and continued to be in touch with us even after escrow had closed.
