Katherine Apsey

Originally from the Chicago area, Katherine moved to New Hampshire to study English Teaching and ride on the equestrian team at the University of NH. She obtained her real estate license as senior in college and worked as an agent before returning to education and opening a horse farm in the area. Katherine later moved to the Detroit, MI area where she earned her Masters Degree and worked at a private boarding school.

With her two children enrolled in college, Katherine moved to Costa Rica to teach at a private international school in the San Jose area. After being captivated by the country, she chose to call Costa Rica home and purchased land in Ojochal where she built a yoga and wellness studio. After navigating the process of purchasing real estate and building, she decided to return to a career in real estate. She has been an active agent in Costa Rica for three years. She enjoys working with clients from all over the world and thrives on the challenges presented with working with such a diverse range of clients.

Katherine currently lives in Ojochal with her two rescue dogs and continues to teach two yoga classes at her studio which offers a variety daily classes including Zumba classes which raise money for the local animal rescue center. In addition, she enjoys playing pickleball, Zumba dancing, playing golf, and exploring all of the amazing outdoor activities Costa Rica has to offer. She loves to travel to the US to ski and snowboard and visit with her adult children who live in Colorado and New York City.
