Katie Doherty Hendon attended Georgia State University, where she received a BA in journalism, concentration in public relations. Katie's PR and marketing background truly sets her apart, as she has exceptional communication skills and the ability to give listings their best possible exposure.Shortly after graduating, Katie began work as the Manager of Client Relations for a wealth management firm. Here, she was responsible for resolving customer service issues, managing a client outreach program, and creating marketing materials for the company. Although she loved her job, Katie knew she wanted a career that more thoroughly involved helping others, while also supporting her native city of Atlanta, so she took the leap into real estate. Now, Katie is a licensed salesperson in Georgia and a member of the National Board of Realtors. In 2017, she received the award for Rookie of the Year in her office for number of units sold; Katie was also featured in the February 2018 issue of Top Agent Magazine.As an Atlanta native, Katie has a true passion for her city. She has lived inside and outside of the perimeter and has an extensive knowledge of Atlanta, as well as its surrounding areas.Katie loves people and is passionate about helping others. She often volunteers for local non-profit organizations and remains active within her community. Katie loves walking her 2 dogs and is an avid tennis player.Katie specializes in giving buyers and sellers the guidance they need to understand and properly navigate the contract process.
