Roberto Brenes

I was born in San Jose 31 years ago in a small town full of nature and farms. My childhood was around plants and sports. I attended Anglo-American elementary school and Saint Clare Highschool. I speak 4 languages, Spanish as my mother language, English , Portuguese and Italian.

At the age of 17 I study abroad on an international exchange program in Brazil. This year in a foreign land gave me tools to understand more about global peace, justice and tolerance between cultures.

After that year I came to Costa Rica, specifically to Guanacaste and started a real estate project with my mom. We bought a farm a planted fruits trees and became beekeepers, at the same time running cabins for rent on the property. While this completed my degree in international business with an emphasis in Sustainable Tourism.

Some of my passions are plants, surf, horseback riding, soccer and community projects. I am currently living on my nursery property in Playa Garza , Nosara which is the place I call home. I started a a landscape design and installation company named after the local bees and ants, Tamaga and Zompopas. For the last 7 years and counting, we’ve been working on Nosara, doing master-planning and design for native plants gardens, irrigation systems, Hardscape and irrigation systems. We’ve been connecting with amazing people from all over the world making their properties lush and attracting hummingbirds and butterflies to their gardens. Based on this knowledge and contacts we’ve created throughout the years I decided to move forward with this exciting project of being part of 2Costa Rica Real Estate and facilitate information and knowledge to our clients to find the properties of their dreams.
