A Hawai‘i Island resident since 1975, Steve Hurwitz brings close to 40 years of experience and expertise to his role. A Hawai’i Island real estate agent since 1979, he has closed more than $1 billion in sales and has a deep understanding of the market and the nuances of every resort community along the Kona-Kohala Coast. Steve and his business partner, Bob Chancer, took the helm at Mauna Kea Realty, a Hawai‘i Life Company, leveraging a combined network of clients, and a strategic move towards digital and online marketing, to help bring the company to a new level. Steve and Bob joined forces with Hawai’i Life in 2018, recognizing the reach and exposure of the brokerage’s unrivaled statewide network, global affiliations, brand recognition, and digital platforms. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​As stewards of West Hawai’i’s remarkable growth, they have been integral to the region’s explosive development. And today, Steve and Bob are leading the Hawai’i Life Mauna Kea team as principals, specializing in real estate on the coast of Hawaiʻi Island’s west side.
