Description
Kama’aina, mother, real estate broker and banana bread maker.
I offer local style, global reach and local market expertise to my clients - with over $100M in sales.
With deep roots in the ocean lifestyle, Maui is more than just my home. My father, John Severson, an artist, devoted surfer, and founder of Surfer Magazine, took our family on epic surf trips and Swiss Family Robinson-style journeys through the South Pacific on the quest for the perfect wave before settling down on Maui in the early '70s, to paint and surf… I enjoyed a bohemian childhood, attending Haleakala school and Seabury Hall.
After graduating in Communications from UCSD, I moved to Paris (opposite of Maui!), where I lived and worked for 9 years, eventually becoming the Art Buyer for Yves Saint Laurent, although I would return home to Maui every year. In 2003 I moved back as I finally realized my dad had the vision: Maui is the amazing spot we have all been searching for.
Usually my family lives in Puamana, Lahaina, on the West side of Maui where we surf, paint, swim and enjoy life in our island home. Although we are currently evacuated due to the fires; living in Napili. I run the family textile biz where we design aloha shirts for Sun Surf in Japan and Kahala in Honolulu. Sevo ended his planetary journey on Maui in May of 2017 and my mother, Louise, an accomplished designer of beautiful textiles, splits her time between Napili and Spreckelsville.
I am honored to be a part of the Hawaii Life 'Ohana, Hawaii's most innovative real estate team. My membership in Forbes Global Properties connects luxury home sellers with the extraordinary 133 million monthly visitors to Forbes’ digital platform. Imua!
