Description
When I first visited Whistler in 1978 Whistler Village and Blackcomb Mountain were nothing but pipe dreams. How things have changed! It’s been an amazing experience watching this community grow and growing along with it. I was drawn here by the legendary skiing but soon fell in love with all that this beautiful community had to offer. My wife & I have raised our daughter here and passed on our passion for the mountains and the lifestyle. We are still keen skiers but also take pleasure in the year round benefits of living in this amazing four season resort. In 1994 I joined the Sea to Sky Real Estate team and have never looked back. For the past twenty years I have been providing real estate sales and listing services to clients both local and from around the globe. My no-nonsense approach begins with listening to my clients and focusing in on their needs. I know the community well and pride myself in matching people and properties. However, I also love to draw people into enjoying all that Whistler has to offer and can often be found guiding my clients to a secret powder stash, favorite mountain bike trail or great restaurant. Sharing my enthusiasm for living here and the ensuing connection with clients and friends is extremely satisfying. Over the years I have developed and maintained a reputation for integrity, service and commitment. I pride myself in always putting my customers’ needs first. A large percentage of my business comes by way of referral from past clients and associates and that makes my job much easier and more enjoyable. I’m passionate about ski racing and in the winter season I devote a considerable amount of my free time volunteering at alpine ski races. The 2010 Winter Olympics offered a great opportunity to put my volunteer experience to the work in helping to make the 2010 Winter Games the best ever. My Volunteer Activities Include: * Whistler Mountain Ski Club Board Member from 2005 -2008 * Chief of Course – Parson’s Cup Kinder Speed Series 2006, 2007, 2008 * Member of the infamous “Weasel Workers” volunteer group. * Have worked as “Sled Dog” at Winterstart World Cup Ski Races in Lake Louise. * Assistant Chief of Course – Panorama NorAm Races Dec. 2006 * BC Alpine – Coast Zone Volunteer Official of the Year 2006-2007 * Crew Chief – Womens’ Alpine ski track 2010 Winter Olympics
