LIBERTYVILLE, IL – For the 31st year, brokers and staff from the Libertyville office Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago will collect donations for their annual Thanksgiving dinner donation. Complete dinners are delivered to the Township offices in Libertyville, Avon, Grant, Warren and Lake Villa for distribution to Lake County residents in need. Last year, the firm donated 100 complete dinners and 37 $25 gift cards.
Brokers Anne Donnell, Ellen O’Toole and Millie Kepler are spearheading this year’s event. They will collect donations through November 19th and plan to once again work with Woodman’s Market located at 27555 IL Route 120 in Lakemoor. Once they know how many meals they can put together, the agents and staff will purchase all of the traditional Thanksgiving menu items including a turkey, stuffing, potatoes, gravy, candied yams, green beans, rolls, cranberry sauce and a pumpkin pie. They line up the boxes at Woodman’s and fill them in an efficient assembly-line fashion. The last item added to the box is a Happy Thanksgiving note from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago.

Luke Mutter, managing broker of the Libertyville office, added, “After all of these years, the agents and staff have this down to a science and I’m so proud of all of the work they do to make this event so successful. The boxes have always been compiled outside, so adding a little extra space in between them keeps it safe for everyone. Once all of the boxes are filled, a Happy Thanksgiving note from the office will be added to each box before it is closed and they are loaded into cars for delivery to the township offices that will distribute them.
