He is a graduate of Leadership Louisville, Focus Louisville, Director of Commonwealth Bank and Trust for 17 years, served on the boards of Louisville Ballet for 25 years, Family and Children First, American Automobile Association, St. Francis in the Fields Church, and an Executive Committee member of the Historic Homes Foundation.
In 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2023 Kentucky Select was named the "Most Generous Small Company in Louisville" in the Business First of Louisville Partners in Philanthropy Awards. Presented twice annually to industry-leading, longtime members of the LRE® network, John was selected to be honored for his persistent dedication to his company and all organizations he is a part of.
