San Francisco, CA – February 2, 2010 – Ilse Cordoni, Sales Manager at Zephyr Real Estate’s SOMA/South Beach office and a Partner in the Zephyr ownership group, has announced her retirement from real estate sales management.
Cordoni began managing for the company’s Noe Valley office in 1990 and was instrumental in building both the Noe Valley and SOMA offices. She has also been influential in her work with the San Francisco Association of REALTORS®, serving as Chair of several key committees and ultimately leading the organization as its President in 2009. She was honored in 1993 as San Francisco’s ‘REALTOR® of the Year’ and has enjoyed the respect of her peers throughout the City and the state for more than 30 years.
“Although we will miss Ilse as a manager, we expect to continue seeing her around,” said Randall Kostick, Zephyr’s Chief Operating Officer. “She has been a tremendous asset to our management group as well as a great friend.”
“It has been a real pleasure to be a part of the Zephyr team,” said Cordoni. “Working with this wildly creative and fun-loving group has been an incredible experience.”
Cordoni’s retirement was officially announced at the companywide weekly sales meeting on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. She was lauded with praise in a speech by Zephyr’s President and Founder, Bill Drypolcher. The announcement was met with a tear-filled standing ovation from the agents and staff, honoring her service and commitment as well as sad to hear the news of her departure.
“It’s hard to leave a place where you’ve put in so much of yourself,” said Cordoni. “I feel grateful for time I spent at Zephyr and all the amazing people I had the opportunity to work with over the years,” she added.
