Atlanta, Georgia – September 23, Harry Norman, Realtors® Atlanta North office recently collected funds and purchased various school supplies for the Foster Children’s Foundation’s “Back to School” Open House event.
Mary Ellen Macke, a Harry Norman, Realtors® Atlanta North sales associate relates her experiences with the Foundation as an opportunity to provide items that these children would normally go without. She has seen the joy and boost in confidence these children receive by simply getting a new back pack, notebook or even a lunch box.
“It’s a wonderful thing to see what one person can do for one child, it’s even better when we get together as a group to help several more,” says Mary Ellen Macke, “and that’s exactly what the foundation is there to do and why the Atlanta North office has continued to take part in this life-changing foundation.”
The Atlanta North office has built a close relationship with the Foster Children’s Foundation since 2008 when they first chose the Foundation as its Harry Norman, REALTORS® Volunteer Week recipient. The Foster Children’s Foundation is a non-profit organization established by a large group of business leaders and caring individuals that provides for the un-met needs of thousands of local foster children in the greater metropolitan area.
