White Plains, NY – February 2011 – Michael Shapot, Senior VP of a leading NYC brokerage firm, paid a visit to the agents at ERA Insite Realty in White Plains on February 10th to share his insights on how to be successful in today’s real estate market. With an impressive resume that includes a law degree, previous owner of his own boutique real estate firm, 2007 Manhattan Realtor of the Year, and 90 closed transactions in NYC in 2010, Michael admitted that there are challenges he must overcome on a daily basis to be successful. He shared with ERA Insite’s agents his 5-step approach to keeping your primary goal in sight and overcoming any challenge.
Michael also gave his personal perspective on the state of the NYC real estate market, and its implications for the outlying suburban markets. Unlike in years past, Michael says that, “for the most part, my sellers are not fleeing NYC for the suburbs.” “It’s about lifestyle choices, and with low taxes, improving schools, and a savings in commute time, many are deciding to move to another apartment in the city,” he adds.
ERA Insite’s agents welcomed the opportunity to be part of this interactive presentation, and to learn from Michael’s successes. ERA Insite Realty broker/owner Lou Budetti said, “Michael is an engaging speaker and real-world example of how to be successful in the ever-changing real estate market. He’s an inspiration, and we all learned a lot from him.”
