1299798129Denver, CO (February 2011) – Jason Kloss and Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty are pleased to announce the sale of 700 Highland in Boulder, an 11,000 square foot home that was originally built in 1898 as a Seventh Day Adventist Church.

“The home is a shining example of how historical preservation can seamlessly unite with contemporary design and luxury living,” said Kloss, who also noted how rare a home of this size is in Boulder. “This is one of the most significant homes sales in Boulder, especially considering the historic aspects of the residence and how it has been transformed over the years. The new owners will live in an 11,000 square foot home mixing the original church characteristics of stained glass and wood beams with state of the art technology.”

1299798168In its Statement of Significance, the Colorado Historical Society said the following about the home: The church possesses high artistic values with a combination of Queen Anne and Romanesque styling. Set in the side of a hill, the church is an important visual landmark in the area.

In addition to its historical elements, the home today features some of the “smartest” technology, including heating, cooling, security, lights and other systems that can be controlled from miles away via an iPhone.

Kloss was able to expertly market the home in a way that highlighted all of its past and present features, and successfully sold the property last month.
