Chris Raveis, President of William Raveis Affiliates, recently announced William Raveis Chapman Enstone has acquired Bellevue Realtors, a prominent rental company in Newport, Rhode Island. William Raveis Chapman Enstone will be relocating its Newport office to 65 Bellevue Avenue, the current location of Bellevue Realtors, at the end of June.
Bellevue Realtors had been owned by Vin Marcello for the past 34 years and specializes in long term rentals on Aquidneck Island. As well as its primary rental business, it also operates the Bellevue Real Estate School, which William Raveis Chapman Enstone intends to continue, along with the company’s sales activity. David Enstone, co-owner of William Raveis Chapman Enstone, said, “Our primary objective in acquiring the business was to further strengthen our rental market share on Aquidneck Island. The combined rental businesses will now handle approximately 450 - 500 long term leases a year, which will make us one of the largest rental operations in the state.”
The announcement of this acquisition follows tremendous growth that William Raveis Chapman Enstone has achieved since affiliating with William Raveis back in October 2007 when they had 12 sales associates in their sole office in Newport. Since that time, the company has opened up additional offices in Bristol and East Greenwich and now has 74 sales associates statewide with further expansion planned.
