(November 6, 2011 - Windermere, FL) Suzi Karr Realty, a subsidiary of Castle & Cooke Florida, is pleased to announce the sale and closing of a multi-million residential property in Windermere.
The residence at 4200 Down Point Lane recently was sold for $4.175 million. The selling agents were Frank and Judith Del Toro of Suzi Karr Realty. The buyer and seller have requested that their identities not be disclosed.
The 15,987 square-foot Mediterranean-styled residence was built in 2001 by Ray Coudriet Builder of Windermere and has seven full baths and two half baths. The architect was Nasrallah Architectural Group of Orlando and the interior design was by Marc-Michaels Interior Design, Inc. of Winter Park. The home is located on a peninsula in Lake Down and is surrounded on three sides by water.
The property includes a gated entrance, boat dock and a 1,100 square-foot guest house. The original asking price was $8 million. The property was sold at auction in August 2011, but the deal failed to close.
Frank Del Toro, who specializes in selling Windermere-area properties, said the market for high-end houses in recent months has started to show signs of increased activity.
This is the third property so far this year that has sold in the $4 million-plus range in the Greater Orlando area,” Del Toro said. “In recent weeks, we’ve started to see a lot more interest for properties in this price range.”
