ATLANTA, GA - The 2012 Atlanta Board of Realtors® board of directors was sworn into office on December 7. The annual luncheon, held at Cherokee Town Club, also honored ABR’s top Realtor volunteer leaders.
Harry Norman Realtors sales associate Jim Floyd earned the Sally Washburn Lifetime Achievement Award for 20+ years of exceptional service.
ABR’s President’s Award was presented posthumously to Harry Norman’s Tishann Brown, who served on multiple ABR committees. Brown, who passed away in May 2011, “was highly energetic and talented, and was a mentor to many in the real estate community,” noted Dan Parmer, Harry Norman president and CEO. “She will be greatly missed,” he added.
Harry Norman sales associates Anthony Acosta and Julie Osborn earned the Five Star Circle of Excellence Award for service. Floyd, Acosta and Osborne were also sworn in as 2012 directors, with Acosta named as Trade Show chair.
Recipients of the Captain of Industry Award for 10+ years of service to ABR included Harry Norman sales associates Sheila Brower, Ken Cluett and Gitte Claud and managing broker Todd Emerson, who was elected ABR vice president for 2012.
“By contributing time, energy and passion over the past year, these sales associates have increased the visibility of the Atlanta Board of Realtors and have exemplified the highest level of professionalism in real estate,” said Shea Zimmerman, vice president and managing broker of the Harry Norman’s Buckhead Northwest Office.
