The new medical complex is estimated to cost around three million dollars and will be able to better serve the medical and psychological needs of Pickens County residents.
“Our Goal is to raise the $1.5 million needed to complete the first phase of the new building program. We will also need to increase the donations to our operating budget as the needs for our service continue to increase. The Good Samaritan Health & Wellness Center had over 14,000 patient visits last year. They accomplish more good work per dollar given than any organization I have ever known,” said Ed Delaney, fundraising Chair for Good Samaritan.
The mission of Good Samaritan Health and Wellness Center is to improve the quality of life for the poor and working poor of Pickens County by providing free, compassionate and individualized medical, dental and vision care in an atmosphere of respect and dignity.
