NASSAU, BAHAMAS - Creative juices are flowing for some of the top real estate companies in town participating in the Palm Cay Realtor Video Contest, which invites real estate agents throughout The Bahamas to submit a one-to-three minute video expressing in their own way what the expanding development offers. The winning entry will receive a mini iPad courtesy of Palm Cay, the $200 million beachfront community on Nassau's southeastern shore.
“The local real estate industry thrives on innovative approaches to the consumer, which is why we are so pleased to host the online video competition,” said Sales & Marketing Director Zachary 'Zack' Bonczek. “It’s a win-win opportunity for the agents and Palm Cay. The agents engage their prospects creatively and we highlight their videos on our social media pages, exposing them to a cluster of potential buyers.”
Mario Carey Realty’s entry showcases people attending Palm Cay events like the BSFN Boat Show. ERA Dupuch took a stab at Hollywood humor, filming its staff participating in a variety of activities including tennis, kayaking and cycling with the group all jumping into Palm Cay’s clubhouse pool wholesale toward the end ofthe clip. C.A. Christie’s Liz Mackay recently submitted an original video for the running. Agents have until the end of September to put on their producer hats and join in the friendly contest, with the Bahamas Real Estate Association (BREA) wishing competitors good luck.
“BREA salutes Palm Cay for putting together this initiative as they continue to move forward with their development,” said Franon Wilson, president of BREA. “This contest provides another avenue for BREA members to help Bahamians and non-Bahamians own a piece of The Bahamas. I wish all participating agents good luck in winning a prize and more importantly providing the best prize of all, which is helping someone own their own home.”
With more than 300 single family home sites, seafront townhomes, newly introduced one and two-storey condos, and a 194-slip marina, the beachfront tropical styledevelopment is focusing on building a community. Plans call for a complete build-out by 2017.
