DENVER, CO – Jeff Hendley, a top producing real estate broker with Fuller Sotheby’s International Realty, helped to raise over $1 Million at the 2013 Men for the Cure dinner, held on October 10, 2013 at the XJet hangar. Hendley was instrumental in sponsoring the entertainment for the evening, Bad Candy, a local band that really set the tone for the event. Proceeds from the exclusive gentleman’s dinner help to advance leading-edge treatments and innovations in patient care for breast cancer patients at University of Colorado Hospital.
“This is a cause near and dear to my heart and the quicker we can raise awareness of this disease and begin to find a cure, the better off we all are,” says Hendley.
Because of donors like him, patients are able to receive care from collaborative teams of the best doctors and nurses in their fields. Hendley’s involvement in breast cancer awareness began after his sister-in-law was diagnosed several years ago and he continues to offer support annually at events like this one. The dinner was a rousing success and featured Denver Broncos head coach Jon Fox as guest speaker.
“I look for causes that greatly impact the betterment of society and those close to me,” says Hendley. “The women in our lives are at the core of who we are. What better way to honor and support them than getting 800+ men together at an event to raise money and awareness of this dreaded disease.”
