TRUCKEE, CA – Alison Elder was recently named Chase International’s Tahoe area Agent of the Year, making it the third year in a row she’s earned this top honor. The recognition is based on her exceptional Tahoe/Truckee sales and listings volume throughout 2013.
Elder sold 70 single-family homes last year, equating to approximately $40 million in transactions. Based out of Chase International’s Truckee office, Elder attributes much of her success to her seasoned team – Elder Group Tahoe Real Estate professional services contractors, whose services include in-house transaction management, staging services and high touch client management. And, extensive area real estate knowledge, of course.
There’s no single element that accounts for Elder’s success in sales, other than her comprehensive yet personal approach to selling and client relationships. Extensive marketing and web-based tools reach regional, national, and international markets, but most importantly, she relies on a regional network of outstanding realtors to bring qualified buyers to Elder Group Tahoe’s listings and conversely, client’s purchasing aligned properties.
“With the partnership we have built throughout the realtor and agency network really supports getting transactions completed, benefitting everyone involved” Elder said.
Ultimately, it’s Elder’s expertise, experience, and compassion that continue to strengthen her sales and solidify her professional standing. She stresses the importance of understanding her clients’ dreams– whether it’s a second home, investment property or primary home purchase for a family, Elder strives to create or sustain that lifestyle works for them. Above all else, the Tahoe lifestyle is something Elder understands.
Her son Andrew and daughter Angela are both full-time students at Sugar Bowl Academy and though she devotes much her time to their extracurricular pursuits, she still finds time to support and give back to her community as a whole. In addition to participating in the Tahoe Forest Health System Sports Orthopedic Advisory Council, she is active with Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation’s Queen of Hearts, a board member of Excellence in Education and focuses on the annual Martis Camp Home Tour. She was also heavily involved in supporting Tahoe Forest Cancer Center as a member of the former Cancer Advisory Council and participates as a core member of Best of Tahoe Chef’s which supports the area’s psycho-social programs for cancer patients and their families.
