TULSA, OK — Chinowth & Cohen Realtors once again participated in the annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake event, raising more than $4000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma.

Each of the C&C participants were asked to raise a minimum of $125 to take part in the bowling event at Andy B’s. Rather than only matching the amount each participant contributed, the company matched all fundraising dollar for dollar.
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is a BBBS fundraiser geared toward helping kids have fun as they continue on a positive path. The money goes towards pairing Bigs with Littles and ultimately helps foster the friendships that make a long-lasting impact on children in our community.
According to the BBBS website, researchers found that after 18 months of spending time with their Bigs, the Little Brothers and Little Sisters, compared to those children not in the program were:
- 46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs
- 27% less likely to skip school
- 37% less likely to skip a class
- 33% less likely to hit someone
