DENVER, CO – Rollie Jordan, a top producing Broker with Kentwood Real Estate Cherry Creek, has been honored by the Denver Health Foundation with its prestigious “Volunteer of the Year” award. Jordan was presented with the honor by Paula Herzmark, the foundation’s Executive Director, and Michael Pollak of Hyde Park Jewelers, the foundation’s Chairman of the Board, during the foundation’s annual awards dinner held October 27, 2015 at the Fogo de Chao 
Brazilian Steakhouse in Denver.
Jordan was instrumental in making the Hot Rocks Griller Challenge 2015 the most successful in the event’s seven year history, raising nearly $120,000. Her leadership and dedication to detail motivated her committee to sell tickets and tables. Jordan helped grow the committee to roughly 40 people, secured sponsorships from her friends at Merrill Lynch, Cuvee and Kentwood Real Estate and gathered silent auction items that further helped the overall fundraising efforts. In addition, her family’s personal support further inspired others to attend the Hot Rocks event and donate to the Denver Health Foundation.

The Hot Rocks Griller Challenge was held on June 10th at Elway’s Cherry Creek restaurant to benefit the Men’s Health programs at Denver Health. The event showcased 18 of Denver’s best chefs who prepared unique, original dishes, with guests determining the winner. Hot Rocks also included a Sports Challenge with great opportunities to win, and a silent auction focusing on several unique items.
