MAUI, HI - Wailea Realty Corp., a Boutique of Windermere Real Estate owners, Brad MacArthur and Tom Tezak, have announced that their office raised $32,000 for Assistance Dogs of Hawaii. The money was raised during a month-long campaign in which they committed to donating $1,000 from every home sale their agents represented during the month of March.
The donation will be made via the Windermere Foundation, which to date has contributed over $33 million towards improving lives in communities where Windermere agents live and work.
"We are so thankful to Wailea Realty and the Windermere Foundation for their incredible generosity,” said Mo Maurer, Executive Director of Assistance Dogs of Hawaii, adding, “This donation will go a long way towards helping us provide more Assistance Dogs, free of charge, to those in need."
Assistance Dogs of Hawaii is a non-profit organization that provides children and adults with disabilities professionally trained dogs that increase their independence and enhance the quality of their lives. They are committed to serving people in Hawaii with special needs and provide the dogs and their care free of charge.
“Assistance Dogs of Hawaii provides an invaluable resource to both children and adults in our community who have disabilities, so that they can reach their highest potential,” said MacArthur.
