The house is located in the Drentsche Aa National Park near the Deurzerdiep (Natura2000). Here you can walk and cycle endlessly in nature and the old cultural scenery. This is the ideal location to relax and enjoy rural living in a typical Dutch location, where it is still really dark at night and really quiet.
You can find all amenities in the city of Assen or the village of Rolde. In just 15 minutes cycling through the stream valley, you are in the center of the city of Assen with a very varied range of shops, schools, culture, sports, healthcare and train connections. Motorways are also easily accessible.

Deurze is a small village in the province of Drenthe, in the north of the Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Aa en Hunze, between the city of Assen and the village of Rolde. The village of Deurze itself has a rural character. It is surrounded by a green scenery with many meadows, hedgerows, forests and nature reserves. This makes it an ideal place for nature lovers and hikers. In the area you will find beautiful walking and cycling routes that take you through the Drenthe landscape, such as the Deurzerdiep river valley, the Balloërveld with extensive heathlands, or through the forests near the villages of Grolloo or Amen. You can make wonderful long outdoor horseback rides.
The area also has a rich history. It was formed in the Ice age and is therefore geologically interesting. Boulders are frequently discovered. In the vicinity of Deurze there are old burial mounds in the tumuli forest and numerous 'hunebedden' (dolmens). In addition, there is also more recent history to admire in the Deurze area, such as the restored beautiful old Saxon farms, which are typical of this region.
All in all, the village of Deurze and its surroundings have a lot to offer for nature lovers, hikers, cyclists, horse riders and people interested in history and culture. It is a quiet and rural place, where you can enjoy beautiful nature with a rich history, with urban facilities and entertainment just a stone's throw away.

Explanation of measurement of usable surface
The home has been measured based on the Industry Wide Measurement Instruction (BBMI). This measuring instruction is intended to apply a more unambiguous method of measuring to provide an indication of the usable surface. The Measurement Instruction does not completely exclude differences in measurement results, for example due to differences in interpretation, rounding off or limitations in carrying out the measurement. The stated number of m2 and m3 should therefore be explicitly read as indicative.
